In recent evaluations, MUET has achieved impressive standings in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and QS World University Rankings. The RADAR Portal enables MUET’s faculty and department heads to submit data in real-time, ensuring accuracy and completeness in institutional reporting. The portal also supports data uploads from annual departmental reports, bolstering the university’s strategic positioning in global rankings.
Key highlights of MUET’s ranking performance:
- MUET outperformed peer institutions such as UET Lahore and NED in the THE World University Rankings 2025.
- The QS Subject Rankings 2024 placed MUET within the top 150 globally in Petroleum Engineering, underscoring its academic and research strengths.
- Zafi Sherhan Syed, the project’s focal person, emphasized the RADAR Portal’s role in simplifying and enhancing data management for ranking submissions. “With RADAR, we’re not only improving the efficiency of our data collection but also ensuring MUET’s achievements are well represented on the global stage.”
- MUET’s QEC has actively communicated with heads of departments (HoDs), encouraging them to nominate both academic and employer referees for surveys critical to QS and THE rankings.
