Self Assessment Review
Self Assessment Review
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) is committed to maintaining the highest standards in its postgraduate programs. As part of this commitment, MUET adheres to the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan’s guidelines for program review. This process utilizes the Self-Assessment Review (SAR) document, a comprehensive evaluation mechanism that allows for continuous improvement of our postgraduate offerings.
The SAR serves as a detailed analysis of each program, examining its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis). It delves into various aspects of the program, including curriculum design, faculty expertise, teaching methodologies, student learning outcomes, and graduate employability.
Through faculty and departmental involvement, the SAR fosters a collaborative environment for quality enhancement. The data collected through the SAR informs decision-making regarding program development, resource allocation, and the implementation of necessary improvements. This self-reflective process ensures that MUET’s postgraduate programs remain aligned with industry needs and equip graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their chosen fields.
By employing the QAA HEC standard SAR process, MUET demonstrates its dedication to providing a world-class educational experience for its postgraduate students.
Assessment Teams requires following templates to review the SAR.
